GLOBAL COMMITTEE
This year, we have started an exciting new venture called the Global Committee! The Global Committee is a group of children at Birchfield who are working together to help to make the world a better place. We have decided on 3 Global Goals which are important to us:
- Helping to protect the environment
- Helping endangered animals
- Helping people less fortunate than ourselves

Hi I'm Chloe and I'm the Deputy Ambassador. I would like to simply make a difference to the city, the country and the world! I help to run the committee and support the other ambassadors who are:
The animal ambassadors
The animal ambassadors aim to help endangered animals in the UK and the rest of the world. We believe it's important to protect species that are dying out because every animal has a job and without that job something wouldn't happen that needed to happen.

The environmental ambassadors
The goal of the environmental ambassadors is to find ways to look after the environment.
We would like to help the local woodland and reduce the amount of littering and pollution in
our local area.

The equality ambassadors
The equality ambassadors would like to help people less fortunate than us. We will be doing
some fundraising events and supporting school charities such as Funzi and Bodo.

Funzi and Bodo Clothing Collection
This half term, the Global Committee helped encourage children in school to donate unwanted items to support our local charity. They made posters to put around school and helped to run a school assembly.
They also volunteered their time at the Saturday event at St Peters Church. Well done Global Committee!
