Buddies After School Club Playworker Part-Time (Permanent) 8hours per week Monday to Thursday
We are looking for a Playworker to join our team at Buddies, our inclusive before and after school club. This is based in the bungalow which is separate to the school building. The hours for the role are 3pm until 5pm Monday to Thursday.
We are a popular and over-subscribed one form entry primary school in the heart of the village of Gildersome in the South of Leeds. We are determined to create an inclusive culture of learning where all children are valued and will be challenged in their thinking so they can achieve to the best of their abilities and become lifelong learners. The successful candidate will join an established team supported by an experienced leadership team and supportive and active governing body.
The team at Buddies deliver high quality provision for our families before and after school and provide wrap around care on Wednesdays for children who do two and a half days at Nursery at the beginning and end of the week. The children love attending Buddies and the staff plan lots of exciting and interesting activities for the children, with changing themes linked to the calendar. The learning environment both inside the bungalow and outside in the garden is excellent.
